Last week NCIS: Los Angeles was preempted due to the 2023 CMT Music Awards. Primetime and daytime programming on CBS has been dealing with delays and preemptions as the network airs special coverage. Though March Madness is over that doesn’t mean viewers are out of the woods yet when it comes to shows being pulled off air for scheduled events.
Can fans of this soon to be ending NCIS spin-off count on a new episode tonight? Here’s what we know about CBS’ primetime line-up for Sunday, Apr. 9 and next week as well!
Is NCIS: Los Angeles new tonight?
No. Once more fans of the series have to wait for a new episode to air. The release of a new episode has been delayed due to the special, A Grammy Salute to The Beach Boys, which airs at 8 p.m ET and will run until 10 p.m.
However, if you’re still looking to tune into an NCIS: Los Angeles episode, a rerun will be airing in the program’s usual timeslot. The episode is season 14, episode 2, “Of Value,” and it follows a case centered on an architect duo who have been kidnapped.
The two design secure buildings and it’s NCIS’ job to bring them home safely. In another plot, Deeks and Kensi realize that Rose may need help when it comes to the work she’s bringing home from school.
Is NCIS: Los Angeles new next week? (Apr. 16, 2023)
Yes! On Sunday, Apr. 16 at 10 p.m. ET, “Maybe Today” will air. The episode is about a cold case from 2003. The NCIS is tasked with helping the department’s cold case homicide unit and must deal with a missing Navy petty officer, too. As this is going on, Kilbride will be working on rebuilding his relationship with his son, Alex.
