Letterkenny: Dylan Playfair & Andrew Herr Break Down Season 10's Rivalry

In an interview with CBR, Letterkenny's Dylan Playfair and Andrew Herr discuss Season 10's antics and the joys of Reilly and Jonesy's new rivalry.

Of all the fan-favorite characters populating the Canadian sitcom Letterkenny, few are more unwaveringly earnest than the small town's musclebound jocks Reilly and Jonesy. Portrayed by Dylan Playfair and Andrew Herr, respectively, the two hockey players are practically joined at the hip as they endure everything from overbearing coaches to romantic troubles. The Hulu series' tenth season saw the two strike up a rivalry with Letterkenny's resident gang of ne'er-do-wells, the Skids, culminating in Reilly and Jonesy making a surprise viral video.

In an exclusive interview with CBR, Letterkenny stars Playfair and Herr discussed preparing for Season 10's viral video, praised their co-stars and crew for making the set such a creatively fulfilling environment, and reflected on their favorite moments from the latest season.

Dylan Playfair: Awesome, they're fantastic scene partners! They give us so much with the energy that they bring to set. Herrsy and I really have to hammer our scenes because we've got a lot of lines, but then I see some of their scenes and am like, "Okay, I can never complain!" They literally have to learn new words for some scenes.

Andrew Herr: You just never know what they're going to bring. Your instincts have got to be on the ball when you're in a scene with them because if you give them an inch, they'll take a mile [laughs]. The rivalry is really strong! Tyler Johnston and Evan Stern, off-camera, they're very cheeky guys. Dylan and I have got to prepare hard for that.
