Amanda Holden means business in a navy belted suit as she heads to work after VERY sombre visit to pay tribute to Her Majesty at Buckingham Palace

 She paid her respects to the Queen on Friday as she laid a Queen Elizabeth rose in her honour outside of Buckingham Palace - a day after she died aged 96. 





And Amanda Holden meant business on Monday when she headed to work at Heart FM in London's Leicester Square wearing a navy belted suit from The Fold.The radio host, 51, smiled a little in the two-piece which had a kimono style belt at the waist. Her suit is by an award-winning British brand focused on empowering women to realise their ambitions.Once inside the studios, Amanda shared a couple more images of herself in the ensemble.  Meanwhile, Amanda cut a sombre figure as she joined the crowds outside of the Palace paying tribute to Her Majesty - donning a smart blue dress. 


Queen Elizabeth died on Thursday afternoon at Balmoral Castle, Scotland, aged 96.Amanda shared a picture of the rose to her 1.8M Instagram followers, with the royal residence seen in the background.And filming for her Stories, she gently lay the single flower amongst the stacks of floral arrangements that graced the gates.The pink grandiflora rose ‘Queen Elizabeth’ was introduced in honour of the Queen back in 1954, a year after her coronation.


It followed in the tradition of naming flowers after monarchs, her ancestor Queen Victoria is commemorated by the bourbon rose ‘La Reine Victoria'. Amanda decided to pay her respects after presenting her Heart Radio Breakfast show in nearby Leicester Square. Donning a navy blue midi dress with a mid-sleeve design and metal belted detail, she appeared sombre while joining the crowds.While the star also took to social media to share an emotional post following the sad news, sharing pictures from Her Majesty's reign.
