Photos: A look at LSU's Golden Girls through the years

 From the iconic four notes that open LSU's Golden Band From Tigerland's pregame show, to a slew of other traditions on any given Saturday in Tiger Stadium, the Golden Girls are right in the middle of it all. They've been around since 1959.

Their uniforms may have changed through the years, but the group is always with the band, performing during pregame, halftime and in the stands. The Golden Girls also have made appearances at other events throughout the Baton Rouge area.
