Netflix series Young Royals ended on a cliffhanger after just six episodes leaving fans to wonder whether a sixth season is in the pipeline.
The streamer has yet to renew the Swedish teen drama but given its short run the first time around we predict it would not be a long wait between any announcement and the shows season two release.The coming of age boarding school series follows Prince Wilhelm who is packed off to a prestigious school in Sweden where Young Royals was filmed after he has embroiled in a scandal. There he rubs shoulders with the nations elite teens but as the series goes on he only has eyes for Simon a scholarship student who has looked down on by the rest of the student body.
When their romance is made public via a sex tape filmed by another student the prince gets caught up in yet another scandal and forced to choose between love and duty. Season one had an unexpected ending leaving plenty of scope for a potential second season.
