Severance Season 2 Teaser Released At Apple's iPhone 14 Event

A Severance season 2 teaser was sneakily released at Apple's iPhone 14 event, showing Britt Lower's Helly entering the subway, or did she?:n It's been almost five months since viewers last saw everyone's favorite innies from Severance appear, and already they're getting a brief taste of what might be to come thanks to Apple's recent iPhone 14 event.

During Apple's iPhone 14 event, the company decided to drop a brief teaser for the next season of 2022's surprise hit involving the show's standout character, Helly, according to TechCrunch. Although the teaser was only eight seconds long, it does give the viewer plenty to think about, factoring in all that happened at the end of the last season. In the brief eight-second teaser, Helly (or her outie Helena) appears to be standing in a subway station waiting for the next subway to come in while the Severance theme music plays in the background.

Then, briefly, there appears to be static interfering with Helly before returning to a normal image. This could be up for interpretation. It could mean that Helly has switched back to her outie Helena or vice versa. It could also mean this is an image that Lumen has projected as a safety precaution now that Helly and the other innies have gotten a taste of what their lives are like outside their work environment. A lot of possibilities for Severance season 2.

It could also be a sign that Lumon's influence as a company is continuing to fade. As they revealed more and more of the mystery, it appears Lumon is not as tightly run of a ship as viewers originally thought as Severance season 1 went on. They presumed that the Innies were too ignorant to be curious about what their lives are like outside of work and what measures they would take to find out. Between Helly's suicide attempt and Dylan's attack on Mr. Milchick, they should have realized the innies were trying to find out more about themselves, but they evidently and incorrectly thought their safety measures were too infallible for them to possibly get out.
