NCIS will premiere its next outing on Monday, September 19, on CBS.For the first 18 years of the series the police procedural aired every Tuesday night at 8pm ET/PT.But when the drama started showing series 19 fans were in for a major shake up.NCIS switched both its day and timeslot last year showing a day earlier on Mondays at the later time of 9pm ET/PT.
This will also be the case for season 20's debut episode as well as the rest of the series.September 19 is also going to mark the return of NCIS Hawaii after it was renewed for a second series last year.To celebrate the start of both series NCIS and NCIS Hawaii will return with a two hour crossover special. Fans loved seeing the two dramas come together in March last year when Agent Nick Torres played by Wilmer Valderrama was invited to go to Hawaii by Agent Jane Tennant Vanessa Lachey.
They had previously worked on a case together and Jane asked if he would visit as there was a new lead. The latest crossover titled A Family Matter will see Washingtons team travel to Hawaii to continue their hunt for a deadly felon.As they continue their search with the help of NCIS Hawaiis agents a complex network and a larger sinister plan is unveiled as they try to stop a large scale attack.
