LETTERKENNY GAELS CROWNED CHAMPIONS AT SCÓR SINSIR

 Letterkenny Gaels GAA were the county champions in the Ballad Group and Recitation section at Scór Sinsir last weekend in Burtonport.







The ballad group consisting of Deirdre Bernie  Aoife Mark and Michael and Brian for recitation will now go on to the Ulster semi-finals on the 1st October in Cavan.The Junior B footballers travel to Burt this Saturday to take on Robert Emmetts in the quarter-finals of the Championship. Throw in at Hibernian Park is 12 noon. All support welcome. The Junior A team await this weekends quarterfinals to see who they play in the semifinal in the coming weeks.

This brings a close to the season for them and they will now take a well deserved rest before planning for next year begins.The Club are planning on entering an U-21 team for this year if there is interest. Check out   for full details.The U-17 footballers continued their championship campaign last Friday with a home defeat to An Clochán Liath.This Friday they lads make the journey to Burdoran to take on CLG Realt na Mara.The annual Fiona Doherty Memorial U-14 girls football tournament takes place this weekend at Páirc na nGael. The four teams taking part are Letterkenny Gaels St. Eunans Termon and MacCumhaills.
