Actor Hayley Mills best known for starring in six films produced by Walt Disney signs on for The Wheel of Times upcoming second season. Disney veteran Hayley Mills has reportedly joined the cast of The Wheel of Time for the Prime Video fantasy series' upcoming second season.
Mills recently updated her CV to include an undisclosed role in The Wheel of Time Season 2 according to fansite WotSeries. The actor is best known for starring in six classic films produced by Walt Disney Pollyanna 1960 The Parent Trap 1961 In Search of Castaways 1962 Summer Magic 1963 The Moon Spinners 1964 and That Darn Cat 1965. Neither Mills nor Amazon Studios have officially confirmed she has participating in the Wheel of Times second season so this report should be taken with a grain of salt for now.
While Mills involvement remains a source of speculation, The Wheel of Time showrunner Rafe Judkins recently set the record straight regarding another key addition to the Season 2 roster. Responding to a fan on Twitter Judkins confirmed that Perrin Aybaras wolf mentor Hopper will make his debut in the second season. Hoppers inclusion will come as welcome news to fans as the character was conspicuously absent in Season 1 despite appearing in Robert Jordans first Wheel of Time novel The Eye of the World. Judkins did not mention whether an actor had already been hired to voice Hopper.
Production on the Wheel of Time Season 2 continues to gather momentum, with reports indicating that principal photography wrapped in March 2022. The production's second unit apparently finished shooting additional footage in Morocco around the same time, as well. Official behind-the-scenes videos from the second season's shoot continue to surface online, with the latest of these including shots of Moiraine Damodred (Rosamund Pike) and al'Lan Mandragoran (Daniel Henney) walking along a beach, several other shots of actors seemingly dressed as Aiel warriors in the desert, and a sneak peek at Season 2's elaborate action set pieces.
