Her SNL hosting debut is just days before the premiere of de Arma’s newest movie, “Ghosted,” which is set to debut on Apple TV+ on April 21.
Her latest album, Mañana Será Bonita, recently became the first all-Spanish album by a woman artist to debut at number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. It is likely she performs at least one song from the album during her SNL debut.

In a few months, Karol G will also make history as the first Latina artist to headline Lollapalooza, one of the longest-running music festivals in the country. Last year, she became the first Cuban woman to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress, for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in the movie, “Blonde.Karol G will also be making her first appearance on SNL as the musical guest on April 15.
