The Biggs channel will premiere The Vampire Diaries ( Diários do Vampiro , in Portuguese) as early as next Monday, March 20th, at 9 pm.
The supernatural drama, based on LJ Smith 's eponymous bestsellers , debuts with a double episode filled with fantasy and terror that promises to captivate viewers. Consisting of eight seasons, The Vampire Diaries is a highly successful international series that follows the life of Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), a 17-year-old girl who struggles to overcome the loss of her parents. When vampire brothers Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) return to their hometown, they end up falling in love with the same human, forming a complicated love triangle.
Set in the city of Mystic Falls, haunted by supernatural creatures, this horror series with an intense story among teenagers follows the dilemmas of Elena, her friends and the rest of the city's population.
The series was created by Kevin Williamson and Julie Prec, who are also executive producers, together with Bob Levy, and was on the air between 2009 and 2017. It also gave originality to a spin-off , The Originals .
On Biggs, The Vampire Diaries will air Monday through Friday at 9 pm.
