Amanda Holden has shared her excitement over the news Cutting It will be rerun. The Britain’s Got Talent Judge, 52, starred in the series as Mia Bevan during its 2002-2005 run. That means the throwback snap she posted on Saturday to celebrate the news is around two decades old. Bonkers, right?
Amanda’s hardly aged a day, although the doting mum’s hair was a lot less blonde back in the early noughties.Cutting It was about a group of Manchester-based hairdressers and the show ran for four seasons in total.Amanda’s character Mia was a young stylist and in her throwback snap the then budding actress beamed while posing alongside the likes of Angela Griffin and Sian Reeves.Amanda captioned the photo: ‘So fun to see this being repeated. #CuttingIt @ukTV.’Her trip down memory lane comes after she brought her mother Judith as her date to the opening night of Sheridan Smith’s Shirley Valentine stage show earlier this month.
Mum-of-two Amanda wore a skin-tight black midi-dress that featured cut-outs as she posed next to her mum on the red carpet – and the resemblance was uncanny.Judith was equally as chic in a royal blue silk two-piece suit. Kicking off her 15-week stint, the opening night was in aid of Sheridan’s appearance in the Duke Of York theatre’s Shirley Valentine. The actress, 41, has received outstanding reviews for her role in Willy Russell’s one woman play.
