The young actor spoke to Express co.uk at the Raindance Opening Gala in London as he reflected on the movies that made him.
Alan Rickman s book Madly Deeply The Alan Rickman Diaries was released in October six years after the actor s tragic death. His Harry Potter costar Alfred Enoch, narrates part of the book and revealed that it is one of the few diary books he enjoyed reading.
Alfred 33 played Gryffindor student Dean Thomas in the Harry Potter series alongside Alan Rickman. Although the actor had a smaller role than his castmate he still enjoyed some poignant moments with the veteran star. Now Alfred is narrating part of Alan s osthumous memoir with another Potter star Bonnie Wright who played Ginny Weasley.
While speaking on the red carpet of Raindance s opening gala, the actor adamantly points out that he is not narrating the actual book. Alfred narrates the foreword and appendices throughout the memoir or as he describes it Like where it says this person was born blah blah blah. Regardless of how big his role is the actor noted It was fascinating to get to read it and lovely to be part of that.
He admitted he is not the biggest fan of diaries and memoirs as he feels they cover topics that are too private for him to be delving into. Alan is memoir however appeared to be a different story as it gave Alfred a different perspective on moments he was actually present for.
