Alfred Enoch Discusses His Experience as an Audiobook Narrator for “Madly, Deeply: The Diaries of Alan Rickman”

 The release of Madly Deeply The Alan Rickman Diaries was already exciting for fans of the late Harry Potter star but it was made even more special with the audiobook narration performed by some familiar faces from the franchise. Wizarding World alumni Bonnie Wright Ginny Weasley and Alfred Enoch  Dean Thomas both lent their voices to the audiobook. Enoch recently discussed his experience performing for the audiobook in a new interview with Express.





The 33-year-old narrated the memoir is introduction and appendices. Though Enoch had a small role in the audiobook, he was honored to be a part of it. It was fascinating to get to read it and lovely to be part of that Enoch said. The actor admitted that he is not usually a fan of memoirs, but he described Rickman’s diaries as very compelling. Rickman is diaries also chronicle his time on the set of the Potter films, but Enoch admits he doesn’t have quite as good a memory of his own time in the franchise.

Compared to the lead actors in the films, Enoch explained that he did not have as much exposure in the public eye which allowed him to lead a pretty normal life while acting in the movies. Madly Deeply: The Diaries of Alan Rickman is now available in print and as an audiobook and e book.
