GRAND FORKS Theresa Caputo The Long Island Medium and comedian Jerry Seinfeld will be coming to the Chester Fritz Auditorium on Thursday and Saturday Sept. 22 and 24 respectively.
Caputo engages face-to-face with audience members who wish to connect with deceased loved ones in hopes of bringing closure and discovering truths. A practicing medium for more than 20 years she has written four New York Times best selling books including her most recent Good Mourning Moving Through Everyday Losses With Wisdom From The Other Side. Her show begins at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Billed as Americas premier comedian, Seinfeld brings his standup routine to the stage at 7 p.m. Saturday. He has been hailed for his uncanny ability to joke about the little things in life that resonate with audiences everywhere.Along with comedian Larry David Seinfeld created the TV show Seinfeld that ran on NBC for nine seasons winning numerous Emmy Golden Globe and Peoples Choice awards, and was named the greatest television show of all time in 2009 by TV Guide. In 2012 the show was named as the best sitcom ever in a 60 Minutes Vanity Fair poll.
The Greater Grand Forks Symphony Orchestra will open its season with a concert titled The French Violin LArt du Violon at 2:30 p.m. Sunday Sept. 25 at the Masonic Center 423 Bruce Ave .The theme for the Symphonys 2022-23 season is Vive la France and features the works of French composers from various periods of music. The Symphony is under the direction of Maestro Alejandro Drago.The concert will feature guest artist Roman Fedchuk violin Symphony musicians Ana Galdavadze and Iva Pecotic violins and previous GGFSO concerto competition winner Anne Marques Catarin piano.
