The X Files was an American science fiction drama television series created by Chris Carter . The production revolved around Federal Bureau of Investigation FBI Special Agents Fox Mulder David Duchovny and Dana Scully Gillian Anderson. They investigated The X Files unsolved and marginalized cases involving paranormal phenomena.
It aired from September 1993 to May 2002 on Fox. The show spanned nine seasons with 202 episodes. And then it had two more seasons between 2016 and 2018. In one of the episodes of the second season two Breaking Bad celebrities met .Bryan Cranston and Vince Gilligan worked together on The X File. Drive the second episode of the sixth season of the science fiction television series The X Files joined Bryan Cranston and Vince Gilligan. It was written by Vince Gilligan directed by Rob Bowman and featured a guest appearance by Bryan Cranston . Gilligan chose Cranston to play the antagonist because he felt that he could successfully humanize the role. The actors success on Drive later led to his being cast as Walter White on Breaking Bad .It should be noted that Gilligan wrote 27 episodes of The X Filos in addition to having participated as an assistant executive producer on 44 episodes as an executive producer on 40 as a co producer on 24 and as a supervising producer on 20.
