Star Wars fans love Ewan McGregor, but Hayden Christensen and his fans get some 'thirst traps' in the new Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi's Return documentary The new making-of documentary about the Obi Wan Kenobi series called A Jedis Return focuses mostly on star Ewan McGregor and series director Deborah Chow. However, director David Gelb knows how some prequel kids feel about Anakin Skywalker. That's why the Hayden Christensen portion of the documentary features plenty of thirst trap shots of the Darth Vader actor primed for fan-edited videos over romantic pop songs.
The documentary employs two sequences just for the aesthetic with McGregor Chow and Christensen individually and together watching select scenes from the Star Wars films. The image looks to be projected onto the wall of the LED Volume, also known as Stagecraft, where the Star Wars serie Thor Love and Thunder and other projects are able to capture computer-generated visual effects in-camera. The camera stares lovingly at the actors, watching the clips with a slight grin the way anyone probably would seeing these famous sequences 20 feet tall in front of them. The other sequence features Christensen, likely still in The Volum walking around a desert like background. Don't worry, no actual sand was used in the filming of that sequence.
