A frantic Will engages the local Sheriff in an increasingly desperate attempt to find her. As the clock ticks, suspicion falls on Will who must take matters into his own hands, plunging into the towns criminal underbelly while running from the authorities in a race against time to save his wife.

The movie also features Jaimie Alexander, Russell Hornsby, Ethan Embry Michael Irby and Bruce Altman along with Gerard Butler.Formerly titled Chase, this Gerard Butler action movie did not foster critical acclaim on the review front. The Radio Times stated the movie to be a  generic thriller.

According to The Review Geek Last Seen Alive is a poorly made, poorly scripted effort that has to rank as Butlers worst ever movie and considering he once starred in the infamously bad  comedy Movie 43 that really is saying something. A viewer on Rotten Tomatoes commented Cliches and contrivances sap away most of the suspense in this derivative B movie vigilante thriller that squanders some reliably intense Gerard Butler confrontations while the other wrote The low flying standard of the direction by Brian Goodman can best be summed up by the golden moment when a tracking camera shot pauses to focus on a canister that has FLAMMABLE emblazoned on it. Take a wild guess what happens soon after.
