Nobody has confirmed an episode count for The Blacklist Season 10 just yet. How many episodes could the season have considering its move to midseason?
The Blacklist Season 10 is now filming. This is great news even though we know its not arriving this fall. NBC has decided to hold the series for the mid season .As of right now we do not have any details about the season. We do not even know if it will arrive in January 2023 or if we will have to wait until a little later into the year. The release date will affect the number of episodes a number that is likely already agreed upon but we do not get to know the details just yet.
The Blacklist Season 10 episode count
It would be easy to assume that The Blacklist Season 10 will be a shortened season due to the midseason but I would not assume that just now. Season 6 was moved to the midseason and it still have 22 episodes to it. There were no big breaks in the run meaning the show took up Fridays from the start of January all the way through to May when all other shows were wrapping their seasons.It was a tight fit but it worked. There is a chance we will see something similar happen to Season 10.
This is a show that has filming down just right. The only season to see a shortened episode count was Season 7 which saw 19 episodes. That final episode was part live action and part animation and that was only due to the pandemic cutting filming abruptly. All shows saw reduced episode counts that year. While other shows saw reduced episode counts the following year The Blacklist managed to deliver a full season. It follows suit for Season 9 so it is possible to get a full season in for what could be the final season.
