Bryce Dallas Howard reveals she was paid 'so much less' for Jurassic Park films but co-star Chris Pratt made sure she received equal pay in outside projects

Bryce Dallas Howard has said she was paid 'so much less' than Chris Pratt to star in the Jurassic World trilogy, but has revealed her co-star was a real ally when it came to receiving equal pay for outside projects.

The two actors were billed as co-stars in the three action films, but Variety reported in 2018, that Bryce, 41, had made $8 million for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, while Chris, 43, had made $10 million.

Rather than keeping silent about the disparity, the Pete's Dragon actress spoke to her colleague about it and The Guardians Of The Galaxy star stepped up to work for pay equity in other ways, including game park rides and video games. What I will say is that Chris and I have discussed it, and whenever there was an opportunity to move the needle on stuff that hadn't been already negotiated, like a game or a ride, he literally told me: "You guys don't even have to do anything. I'm gonna do all the negotiating. We're gonna be paid the same, and you don't have to think about this, Bryce.'I love him so much for doing that. I really do, because I've been paid more for those kinds of things than I ever was for the movie.'

The affection between the two stars, who have worked countless hours together, is mutual. In July, Chris posted a sweet Instagram tribute to Bryce marking the success of their final dinosaur project. The actor uploaded photos of the two together for his tribute post. One picture showed the glamorous stars standing close together and smiling for a quick selfie at the Hollywood premiere of Jurassic World: Dominion. The second photo Chris shared showed the two of them again smiling in a separate selfie. He added a caption to the post, explaining how much he appreciated working with the talented actress over the years and having the opportunity to tell such a riveting story in the Jurassic World franchise. It's been 1 month since #JurassicWorldDominion hit theaters and and I can't help but think about my partner through it all,' he wrote.
